WHO WE ARE
In Anagpur village on the Suraj Kund road in Faridabad, a small but dedicated team of animal helpers take care of hundreds of lost or homeless animals over the course of each year privately owned shelter.
When we first started our shelter we thought we had ample of space and resources for our little ones but with increasing number of tortured, abandoned, homeless babies we soon realized how wrong we were. We witnessed humanity in its most brutal form in our little babies. Those cuts, bruises, thin legs, weak chassis, scared to death faces, those woeful eyes scare us every time we look at their faces and we wonder what is it that blinds us? What is that succumbs us into these hellish acts?
We at Voice of Voiceless Society are not just dog or cat lovers, our love isn’t biased towards what form of life is being scared. We’re here to make a change, to show people the true meaning of life.
We daily get many cases of injured, abandoned or tortured animals. We not only treat them but also look after them till we find a suitable home for them(Even if it means that some of them might live with us for the rest of their lives) for its not just about feeding those tortured animals it’s about giving them hope, giving them a shoulder, giving them a family.
Understanding the growing need to control their population we frequently organize sterilization camps. There are more than 130 animals from dogs, cats, hen chicks, goats, cows/calves/bulls, presently living with us including two caretakers, a cleaner, a cook, and a driver.
We’re just a small group of animal lovers? NO, We are a small group of animal lovers who help the ones in need, share smiles as a chore, and practice love as a religion.
WHAT WE NEED
Hi, my name is Jack, I’m a male Indian Spitz and I will brief you about our current requirement along with my story. Some kind strangers found me roaming around helplessly on the Surajkund Road with an injured foot. At first, I was very scared to go near them but when I did, it completely changed my world.
When they took me to their place, I saw a lot of other dogs like me staying with them! And I made friends with them almost instantly! My house is called the Voice of Voiceless Society. And the strangers who took me in, help me and other four-legged creatures like me who have been abandoned by their parents, rescued from someone or our severely injured.
Even though they have limited space, these strangers have a big heart and take in every animal in need! My house is located in Anangpur Village, Faridabad. But because of the lack of space and so many different types of animals, these strangers are in dire need to build kennels so they can look after us better, and keep animals going through treatment separate since they are more prone to catching infections.
Apparently in human world, you need money to build kennels. Can you please help these people collect money to build the kennels so that they can help more animals like me? They changed me from a scared, shy, injured dog to a happy, outgoing and healthy dog. Please help them touch more lives like they touched mine. The kennels they require would be of the following specifications and would need the following things -
1. 6' x 5' x 5’ iron grill kennels made from 1.5" angle and 10 gauge 1" x1" mesh. 10 nos Costing around 95000/-
2. Mason work, Grouting, fixing & painting approx - 15000/-
3. 5 LED tube lights - 1800/-
4. 2 big 18" exhaust fans 3600/-
5. 2 big farratta wall fans 8000/
6. Steel OPD Table - 15000/-
7. Food turfs cemented for cows 3'x2'x30' 25000/-
8. Electrical Fittings 12000/-
9. OPD Wall Tilling 25000/-
Total fund required including Fundraiser campaign fees 225000/-
With the monsoon approaching and my furry friends having no one to go, every contribution will help. Please help my humans!
Once we get the desired fund we will be in a position to comfortably take in more animals for treatment and the kennels are made we will be able to systematically keep more IPD patients making the place more organized, effective and infection free. We’ll make it sure that all of those animals stay safe, sound and most importantly devoid of the pain, grief and despondency they’ve gone through by giving them love, care and affection.
WANT TO DO MORE?
Please share this with your friends who care about animal welfare. If you are interested in volunteering at the shelter on this project or others, please email us.
PUT YOURSELF IN THEIR PLACE, SEE THE WORLD AS ANIMALS SEE IT, AND THE REASON TO SAVE THEM WOULD BECOME OBVIOUS.
