Vidhaigal 2018 - An Event for the special children

Differently abled not disabled!
Everybody has the ability and everybody matters, it's all about acknowledging and accepting it. Often, differently abled people see what we can't, hear what we can't and think what we can't think. This makes their ability different - neither inferior nor superior - just different. Many differently abled people are known to flourish and rejoice in life when provided the right opportunity, support and love. The great Indian Dancer “Sudha Chandran” has been physically challenged from the age 16, but that didn’t stop her from her passion, dancing.
We the NSS unit 2 of Anna University - College of Engineering Guindy Campus, Chennai strive to acknowledge these gifted ones through an event called “VIDHAIGAL”. It is a one-day event for the physically and mentally challenged school students from in and around Chennai. We will be conducting fun games and competitions ranging from painting, dancing, singing and more in order to recognize their talents and appreciate their difference.
Vidhaigal has been a tremendous success over the past 5 years. It has proved to be a platform for many hidden talents and has given us an opportunity to get inspired. This year we are stepping into the 6th edition of Vidhaigal and hope to make it a grand success this time too with your support!
