 I am Vartika Sundrani an MBA student , recently myself along with friends visited a nearby village and we realised that nothing has changed for these villager's families in the second wave as compared to the first wave, other than more people falling sick and families losing loved ones due to lack of timely medical aid. And felt providing immediate relief in the form of rations and meals is important to start rebuilding the lives of these families .This pandemic has led to increase in food insecurity mostly the daily wagers, construction workers, street vendors and domestic helpers have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic and lockdowns and are living a life of uncertainty and disrupted incomes.

COVID-19 has exacerbated hunger and poverty worldwide, especially in India.

As hunger is still one the biggest - and most solvable - problems in the world .Every contribution, no matter what amount, everything counts to make sure a underprivileged family sees ray of hope .
