I am Harini Parsa. This is in regards with the covid battle which my family is going through for 2 months now.
All my family was tested positive for Covid in April.Since,my parents had some medical history their situation was complex but came back healthy after ICU admission and appropriate treatment. It costed fortune for 5 of us to recover from COVID.
However,things didn't settle down well with us.Recently, my dad is diagnosed with deadly Mucormycosis (black fungus). Within a span of 24 hours, condition has gotten critical as fungal spread was extreme in his body. Doctors suggested we rush for an immediate surgery to save him.
We paid 3 lakhs for the mucormycosis surgery and it pretty much went well. But, it typically involves anti-fungal treatment to make the entire process successful. It would cost us around 15-16 lakhs for this as the medication post operation is expensive.
We badly seek some financial help. We really appreciate the management for providing us such thoughtful platform and indebted to each one of you if you could do something here and make a difference. Thank you!
