Covid Relief Kitchen is an initiative of IIM Women for Social Action. A bunch of contract and migrant workers are without money and community kitchens help feed those individuals and families. These citizens from Mumbai live in 10X10 kholis and work with daily wages.

Our beneficiary runs one of these kitchens which provides 2 simple meals a day to these workers. Started on 29th March 2020, the overall initiative has served 3000+ meals with the help of the community kitchen managers and donors continuing to support the purpose.

Freebirds is grateful to the donors who have enabled us to support one of the community kichen mangers of the Covid Relief Kitchen Initiative.
