India Needs Sexual Expression. Help Pallavi do That.

Let me start with some numbers:

  • Sexless marriages are on rise in India - Only 20% of couples are having sex once a week, down from earlier 37% in 2004. Due to job stress, boredom around living with same person 24x7, and kids. A sexless marriage leaves couples unloved, undesired, and looking for flings elsewhere - India Today sex survey
  •  Indians account for the 3rd highest chunk of visitors to Pornhub (up from 5th highest in 2014), one of the biggest porn aggregator sites in the world. Yet 9 out of 10 parents believe kids go online for 'education'.
  • Out of the total 48.1 million pregnancies in India in 2015, about half were unintended, meaning women did not want to get pregnant  - The Lancet Global Health
  • Couple friendly hotels are on rise in India who offer rooms to unmarried couples for 1-3 hours for quick sex. It is uncertain if such a sexual experience without oodles of foreplay, and after sex conversations is fulfilling. 
Can you see a common thread underlying all these problem areas? 
Young India wants to have sex but is tight-lipped about sex. 

Need of the hour: It's time to talk about sex. #letstalksex. Remove the anonymous. Sex is a natural drive, not a thing to be ashamed, hided at. Let's normalize our sexual conversations.

With the help of funds raised, I am able to hire a team and take office space to streamline operations. We have just completed the shoot of online course in understanding patterns of 'relationship issues' and how these can be traced back to our childhood and our relationships with our parents.
