Bihar is 12th largest state in terms of geographical size and 3rd largest in population, has around 103.8 people (Census 2011) with nearly15 million households (HH) with an average family size of 7 people. It is estimated by various research agencies that more than 75% households are not having access to household toilet facilities, therefore open defecation is common practice.
Watsan Sanitaries Pvt. Ltd. is Bihar based social enterprise provide solution to make sanitation accessible to low income families. Our Service and are designed based on income profile and family compositions. Toilet designs are socio-cultural compliant.  We are targeting only low income households to get toilet constructed to preserve modesty and safety of girl and women and prevent from diseases that spreads due to open defecation.
Till November'16, 34 low income household has been reached out to build toilet for them and hundreds of families are also waiting to get their toilet built.

We aim to raise fund to expedite to toilet construction for many low income households, who pay back the cost of toilet in staggered manner based on their income. The same repaid amount would either be utilised for other toilet construction or repaid back to source of fund.
