Do you have 5 minutes for Kindness?
Your time here can change someone’s life.
Hello! I am Titiksha Patel. I am a law student, believing in empowerment of people.
As humans, we all want to live a pleasant life, whereas, not all have the opportunity to do so.
Some of us have the knowledge and power to create opportunities.
Hamari Pahchan is a Non-governmental organisation working for 4 causes.
One of the projects is SUKHAD.
SUKHAD means pleasant. The aim of the project is to make the lives of our women —Sukhad.
In the urban areas, the lives of women have become easier with advance means like menstrual cups whereas the women of many rural areas, still suffer through hygiene issues because they do not have the knowledge about reproductive health and are deprived of even sanitary pads.
The project aims to provide basic menstrual safety equipments in form of kits during distribution drives, to the underprivileged women. Along with the kits, the Ngo also aims to create awareness about menstrual health.
The Ngo is ready to take a step forward and give employment to the women under ‘skill development initiative’.
‘PAD Making Machine’— an employment opportunity for women, where they not only earn but learn about their bodies and health.
SUKHAD is the way to bring the women out of their cocoons and embrace their wings.
We aim to distribute 50,000 Sukhad kits this year.
Sukhad kit for 1 woman : Rs. 1,400/-
Sukhad kit for 5 women : Rs. 7,000/-
KIT CONTAINS :
•24 packets of sanitary pads
•6 packets of soap
•Disposable paper envelopes
Hamari Pahchan stands for and with those women. So do i.
Give a thought to Empowerment and Contribute.
