The current funding model is through sporadic donations from well-wishers and limited fund-raising activities which have included village food and games festivals, sponsored
events like birthdays, festivals and special cause-related projects like bird-baths, greeting cards and gift certificates.
Support is now sought for the flagship project: TINKLE After-School Centre, which was started in 2012 and currently empowers 50 underprivileged rural girl children from Grade
3 to Grade 8 with confidence, creativity and life skills and enables them in their journey from childhood to livelihood. In addition, the model also works to keep the girl children
safe, healthy and progress academically. It also contributes in reducing drop-outs at high school levels by delivering education value an zero cost to the section of society which cannot afford tuition, healthcare and substantive nutrition, especially to the girl child.
From a holistic perspective, the Centre should end-to-end education support to the girlchild. This can be achieved by supplementary Innovative teaching aids, programs to
enhance literacy, nutrition, life skills, culture and sports to ensure a joyful learning and happy childhood. The trust is seeking financial support to implement and ensure long-run
sustainability, extension of services and increase of footprint/delivery and provide better infrastructure support for the target segments who otherwise would be deprived of such
facilities and skill-training.
