Why am I fundraising?
I am trying to raise fund for Kemnbay School (Regd no: PP/5270/07). Kemnbay School- A small village school which was founded in the year 2000 with an aim to help the school dropout and under privilege village children belonging to low income families. Most of this Children belong to economically weak section living in Diphupar ‘B’ village, Dimapur. At present around 130 students are enrolled.
Till now with a marginal income which comes from the student’s school fees, the teacher’s salaries are paid off. Now, the school aims at constructing the school building which in turn aims to accommodate more students approximately 400 students from the village and help in imparting quality education .
What do I plan to do with the funds?
This fund will help Kemnbay school in the purchase of raw materials for construction. The School eventually plans to accommodate 400 under privileged students.
Break of expenses estimated for the construction of the building:
- Iron rod = Rs.3700 per quintal x 200 quintal= Rs. 7,40,000
- Sand per truck load = Rs.22000 x 5 truck load =Rs.1,10,000
- Boulder =Rs.5000 per truck x 3 trucks =Rs.15000
- Stone chips per c.ft =Rs.35 x 400 c.ft = Rs.14,000 x 4 trucks =Rs.56,000
- Cement= 100 bags x Rs.360 = Rs.3,6000
- Paint = 50 buckets ( 20 ltr each ) x Rs.2000 =Rs.1,00,000
- Labour charge= Rs.200 per sq.ft = Approx.Rs.7,00000
Total = Rs.17,57,000/-
Of the total cost of construction, I am trying to help them raise Rs.10,00,000/-
