Help Us To Provide 100 Menstrual Hygiene Kits to 100 Underprivileged School Girls of Tea Garden Areas For 6 Months. As A Not For Profit Organization, We Are Attempting To Raise Funds To Impact 100 Underprivileged Families Through The 'White Revolution' Campaign.
About The 'White Revolution Campaign':
The 'White Revolution' is an unending campaign of ALL & SUNDRY (A not for profit org. of Golaghat, Assam) launched on 30th of July, 2017. The primary agenda of The 'White Revolution' campaign is to reduce "Absenteeism" of girls in schools during PERIODS. At the same time, we are also trying our level best to give them 5 of 'Those' days back so; they never miss their school again during MENSTRUATION.
Story:
Generally , there is a tabboo on speaking about menstrual cycle and all that comes with it. Because of our silence, many underprivileged girls suffer.
The target beneficiaries is school girls (12 to 16 Years) who have embarked or yet to embark on their menstrual journey. We hope that by educating them this young, they are able to go on to live heslthy lives. This time (10th Edition of The White Revolution campaign) we are planning to support 100 underprivileged school girls if Tea garden areas for 6 months. I as the Founder of ALL & SUNDRY ask you to reach our goal of sponsoring 100 girls.
For this we need Rs. 100000/- (One Lakh only) as each menstrual hygiene kit cost Rs. 1000/-. The menstrual hygiene kits includes the following stuff: (i) Sanitary napkin- Pack of 6, (ii) Dettol Soaps, (iii) Detergent, (iv) Hand Towels, (v) Shampoo and (vi) Period-Friendly diets.
Menstrual Hygiene Kit (Per Girl Status) For 6 Months:
(i) Sanitary napkin: 12 packets
(ii) Dettol Soap: 12 pcs.
(iii) Detergent: 12 packets
(iv) Shampoo: 30 packets
(v) Hand Towels: 2 pcs.
(vi) Period Friendly diets
Our agenda is to raise awareness on gender issues and bring it out in the open. Through The 'White Revolution' campaign, we teachbthe girls snd their parents about the importance of menstrual hygiene and health. Furthermore, we hold counseling sessions with the mothers of the girls to bring the topic of menstruation out into the open. We aim to imptove the health and the quality of life for girls living in the tea garden areas, remote areas and flood prone areas of Assam and this time we need your valued support to reach 100 underprivileged school girls more with menstrual hygiene kits.
