Good people, 

My name is Poornima, I live in The Wag'd Foundation.
I am a canine distemper survivor which has left me a bit scared of people. Because of this, I couldn't get adopted and so here I live. Let me introduce you to a few of my mates.

Abira is only a year old but partially blind, deaf and malnutritioned. She needs blood tests every 6 months, a check on her liver, kidneys and spleen every 4 months  She cannot stay on the streets and needs lot of supervision and direct care.

Hero and Nero are dobermans. They tell me it is a great breed, I wouldn't know I am a mutt. But I don't know why they still got abandoned on the street. They were found on the roads, severely malnutrition and problems like Nasal discharge, low platelets.
Princess is another of my friends, She can't walk... well she tries to but  has a neurological problem that doesn't let her.
There are 30 such dogs that we live with. Most of them need rehabilitaion and care that my daddy Kartik works on.

My daddy started working with stray&abandoned dogs like me four years ago.
But he tells us we need something called money or we may be on the streets.

Can you help us with this money thing  so that we all can get our shelter?

The structuring of a public  charitable trust (The Wag'd Foundation) is currently under way. 

The trust shall operate a privately operated, publicly funded sanctuary, construction and setup costs of which are estimated to be INR 15,00,000.

We need help raising this money to secure the future of these kids. 

7,00,000 is to go towards construction

2,50,000 towards a deposit, 

65000 for legal fees and registration, 

The remaining towards staff salaries, rent and operational expenses for the first 6 months.
