Mushrooms are an essential part of our ecosystem, and the edible ones are not only delicious but full of nutrients and healing properties.
   
Basically, I'm a software engineer worked with big MNCs, then quit my job to take care of my hubby and two lovely kids. Even though  I enjoyed my motherhood something keeps striking me that I need to achieve something.Before 8 months  I came across the word mushroom farming but never took it seriously. People I enquired told its difficult to maintain so we left it. Everyone was too much aware of oyster mushrooms and button mushrooms.Then when I continued my research and watched YouTube videos (Telugu, Thai, Hindi) of course I don't know much of these languages but based on the visuals I gathered things, found out a tropical mushroom(milky mushroom) that could grow in 25-35 degrees Celsius.

When I told my hubby, my parent's hat I'm going to start my mushroom farm, think whats the reaction, Being a software engineer why you want to try mushroom? Try software projects blah blah blah.I was stubborn......

At last my parents accepted telling if it doesn't work should be back to software.Daily my prayers were at least I should harvest one mushroom.10 days after my mycelium were formed. I was very happy ok, casing soil after casing soil the mushroom are going to produce.but it took 27 long days.daily my parents kept itching me will mushroom will grow. atlast one fine day when I saw the pinheads I was like seeing God.I thought only one mushroom is going to be produced but  10 big mushrooms and 5 small mushrooms  were produced.Then my second harvest was also a good one.


Now I want to move my hobby into a  commercial one, because I still want to prove to all growing mushrooms  is possible by me...
