NITRAA- NIT Rourkela Alumni Association has come up with a sponsorship plan to support dedicated technology teams of NIT Rourkela. Team Black Mamba Racing is a dedicated group of students from NIT Rourkela. It is the official BAJA-SAE Team of NIT Rourkela.

NITR basically creates an ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE, an automotive which can cut through all type of terrains.The passion and exuberance of the dedicated members has made it possible since the year 2008 and the zeal has been kept alive till date.

The team feels proud to present its invention that serves mankind and society in many aspects.The vehicle is very useful in military movements, oil and mineral exploration, snow removal,fork lift,etc due to its specific ability of running through all type of terrains.
Presently, in its ninth year, Team Black Mamba Racing is the oldest vehicle fabricating team of NIT Rourkela and has always made the institute proud by putting in undying efforts and representing the institute at the national level.The team had secured 4th rank in the virtual event of BAJA SAE 2016.
