Support young Aspiring Engineers of Team CFR to Manufacture a Racecar

Who we are?

CRCE Formula Racing is the official Formula SAE Team of Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering, Mumbai. The team was founded in the year of 2016 with just 4 members filled with a passion for Race cars and a burning zeal to learn. After fighting all barriers and working hard to design their first formula student race car, they recruited 25 students from various engineering disciplines to establish the team. Each student brings instrumental skills to the team, the union between the diverse skill and strong team work forms the core of our team. CRCE Formula Racing provides an unrivaled learning experience, that allows engineers to integrate classroom concepts with a practical application, and compels students to overcome intellectual and collaborative challenges. The final Race car is a testament to the team’s incredible work ethic and dedication.
The main source of motivation is the team-spirit and the teasing wish to build the best formula student racing car. The thing that distinguishes us from other teams is the fact that we work as professional as a company, but are bound together like a family.

After a bitter-sweet competition in our first year as a team, we finished 48th out of 126 teams at Supra SAE, which was held at the Buddh International Circuit, New Delhi. The team looks forward to participating in the upcoming Formula Bharat 2018, to be held at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore.

Why we need your help?

Building the car involves sleepless nights, working on sunny afternoons, teammates getting cut by grinders, a bunch of unexpected experiences. But no obstacle can stop us from working towards our dream and vision. Which only goes to show that we have a team of warriors who are going to fight till the finish-line.

With just 3 months to go for the competition we are ready with our design and have started fabrication in full swing!

The competition is in January and we are more than half way across the line. We just need an extra push in form of funds to make all this struggle and hard work worth it as we still have a lot of equipment to be manufactured and procured.
Some of which are:
- Set of wheels
- KTM 390
- Carbon Fibre
- Painting
- Transportation from Mumbai to Coimbatore
- Parts manufacturing
- and other miscellaneous expenditures

If we are not able to raise the required money our car may not even reach the competition, the thing we have been working towards for around a year!Whether its ₹100, ₹1000 or ₹10000 every donation is valuable to the team!We hope that you be selfless today to help mould our youth's dream and encourage them to continue this great work.

"Give the youth a proper environment. Motivate them. Extend them the support they need. Each one of the has an infinite source of energy. They will deliver" - Dhirubhai Ambani
