Kadam Public charitable Trust is a registered trust running a free school for street children since 2014 in Lingampally, Hyderabad,
We are seeking small contributions so that we can add one more teacher to teach Telugu & Hindi in the school from March 2018. An experienced, B.Ed qualified teacher with a salary expectation of Rs. 16,000 a month has been shortlisted. We are seeking donors who can partly sponsor her monthly salary. Donors here should commit at least 1 year of monthly donation.
We pick up beggars/rag-pickers/bonded-labour children from the street and motivate them to come to school, as most of the children are grown up with no education at all, they cannot be put into a regular school right away. Under Right to Education act, these children are trained in a special school and have a special curriculum (Bridge course). Kadam Public charitable trust has setup one such free 'Special school' exclusively for street children who have never been to school. We provide free breakfast & lunch in this Non Residential free school.
About 28 out of 75 children have been trained in this free bridge school have been integrated back into regular private English medium schools last year. More will join regular school this year. Rest will continue training till they are ready for regular school. We have new children joining the school every month.
Our banking transactions & school operations can be audited at anytime. We will provide access to our internet banking account & access to web based CCTV footage of each class in the school.
