We, ‘The hunger fighters’ are a group of students from Grade 5 at Pathways School Gurgaon working on the global goal of Zero Hunger during the pandemic for our PYP Exhibition. We want to spread awareness about the problem of hunger and malnutrition in our country so that collective efforts can be taken to eradicate it. Campaign idea:
Among the government efforts to combat the problem of hunger, the Anganwadi centres and Midday Meal scheme have been significant. Our fundraiser, 'Sponsor an Egg Campaign' is an attempt to support and strengthen these initiatives so that nutritious meals can be provided to little children in a sustained manner. With the money we raise from this fundraiser, we wish to provide eggs, milk and ration to different Anganwadi centers and supporting NGOs on a regular basis.

We are 10 year old students with dreams that touch the sky, but we are able to dream because our stomachs are full. Unfortunately, in our country many children are unable to even access one healthy meal a day. We believe that every child has the right to food, health and nutrition. Join us so that children like us can dream and envision a better future for themselves and our country.

Utilization:
Currently the Anganwadi Centres and their supporting NGOs are shut due to covid and only distributing dry ration to their students. We will be utilizing the complete amount of Rs.60,000/- in 3 installments to buy eggs, flour and rice and donate them to the Anganwadi centres on a monthly basis.
