PLEASE HELP
My Friend's name is Yuvaraj Singh. His wife Beena Singh just delivered a baby boy. Unfortunately, their new born son is suffering from a disease called "Gastric Outlet Obstruction - (Antral Atresia)" with Strictures / an Antral Web in his stomach. What's worse is that he has also got "Rectal Atresia" - this means his intestines have a malformation.
Doctors have told them that the two diseases occurring simultaneously in the baby at the time of birth is in itself a unique/rarest of the rare case.
Pediatric surgeons and doctors have stated that this might be the first case recorded in India. Their child has already been in the NICU since he was born.
Both the surgeries are complicated and would require a longer NICU stay for recovery.
The cost for both the surgeries and NICU stay is estimated to be about 13 lakhs.
I have attached the letter given by the hospital as evidence for the same.
