Many of us might have experienced the dilemma of having no one to share our extreme emotional distresses. When it comes to children, proper support and guidance should be provided. But we have been hearing instances where a lot of children attempt suicide, many are affected with depression, children with learning disabilities being misunderstood and treated inappropriately, to name a few.
If children feel that they have a place to come and open up their feelings, it could be a chance to provide them a better life. Your Amigos Foundation aims at providing quality and accessible mental health services for children through schools and communities. We want mental health to be a part of the ‘health spectrum’ by eradicating the stigma attached to it. Currently we have started supporting  3 government aided schools in and around Kochi, Kerala. We would love extending our services if you could support us.
