Currently, we have so much uncertainty and concern surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) so it's genuine to feel restless, but we need to think about the many daily wagers who have lost their job. Many workers are so helpless that they have started walking thousands of kilometers to reach their homes. Some of them have died on the way.

The daily wage earners and unskilled labourers in our area are a worried lot today. They can't earn because of the lockdown (and now with the period being extended by a further 19 days) and many have not been paid their last salaries.

We have an idea. Let all of us contribute - even small sums like Rs 100 to 200 each family so that we can buy ration and prepare individual ration packets for such families.

Some socially active, symphathic  and energetic youth of Asansol (West Bengal) have established an Organization to help poor families in the lockdown announced due to the CoViD19 pandemic.

Earlier too we have worked collectively for the betterment of the society but without any banner but now we feel - that the magnitude of the social issue is too large and we alone will not be able to control the repurcurssion of the announcement of the PM.
