Financial Support Letter

I am an undergraduate student studying law at Dr. RML National Law University, Lucknow. Recently, I have been accepted for the Harvard College Conference, HPAIR scheduled to be held at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  After a review of my application and an in depth interview process, the organizing team has selected me as a delegate from a highly competitive pool of applicants from all over the world. I have been chosen as a delegate under the track, "Social Policy and Justice."

I'm committed to the idea of equality, justice and constitutional values and am determined to serve the underprivileged communities in India. This conference therefore is a great opportunity for me to enrich my knowledge and gain experience which I can then use towards my work for lesser privileged in India. Previously, I have been selected for a 2 month fellowship program, "Media for Social Change Fellowship" by Yes Foundation in 2018. Hailing from a remote part of Deoria district in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, I am financially independent and bear all my educational and living expenses myself. However, I don't have the required funds that would enable me to attend this conference. Hence, for the first time, I'm running a crowdfunding campaign to help bear the costs of my participation in the conference.

I am raising a total of Rs. 1,10,000 (includes airfare, visa fee and other expenses). I would be grateful for any contribution you can make, regardless of the amount.
