I'm Yadnya Ankita (Amit Kamble), 21. I identify as a trans woman. I am originally from Mumbai, living in Delhi at the moment due to college. I was asked to leave my house by my father when I was 19 after I came out as a trans individual to him. Most people of the transgender community are not accepted by their family members and they are thrown out of their houses, they become homeless with no food or shelter. I, thankfully had friends who supported me at every step of my journey.

           I had been working since I was 17 and had to drop my education after I was asked to leave home because I had no option or finances to support myself. I've been taking care of all my expenses since I stepped out. My dad has not spoken to me since 3 years neither does he allow my mother and younger brother to talk to me. But I am very close to my mother and in constant touch with her (without the knowledge of my father).

           These 4 long years, I had been tirelessly earning and saving up for my surgery and my education with managing all my other expenses by myself. I have got no financial support from anyone with regards to my medication, accommodation and all other things going along. I with alot of difficulties saved some money for my surgeries but had to give up my due an unfortunate tragedy in my family.
       

           Due to lack of educational qualifications, getting hired was getting very difficult for me, in spite of having good amount of experience. With everything going on, I am feeling major body dysphoria and I really wish to get operated. I've taken up a job in Delhi along with my education but it’s barely enough after paying for my rent/food etc. I've been saving up all these past years to get operated as soon as possible and now it seems another 5/6 years far. I barely manage money for my medicines too and my mental state is just getting worse day to day, due to my body dysphoria.

          This has been very hard for me but please help me raise funds so that I can have a happier life and be my authentic self, in a body I can proud call mine.
