Why Fundraising?
“PEHCHAN – RUN FOR IDENTITY” is an attempt to create awareness about women empowerment & menstrual hygiene. A unique initiative has been taken to distribute free sanitary pads to the underprivileged women by creating a PAD-BANK. If you fund this project, you do not merely support an event, you support a way of life besides supporting thousands of lives.
The proceeds from the event fund urgent social causes for women. The funds collected through this campaign will be used to support their self reliance training and operational costs and empower them to reach their full potential. We wish to see this world as a safe, peaceful and encouraging place for women and girls by empowering them through awareness, health education and the support that they need to become their own change agents.

About MMSSSL
Manirampur Mahila Silpa Samabaya Samiti Ltd (MMSSSL) was formed in the late 1990’s in West Bengal, India as a women’s cooperative society. MMSSSL from its very inception has constantly tried to create and provide a platform for the underprivileged women by which they can collectively focus on self-employment development and earning by imparting different skill development training like food processing, stitching & tailoring, handicrafts & gift items, beautician and physiotherapy, cooperative training, etc. to develop their skills and competencies to enable them to become financially self sufficient by selecting alternative livelihoods. MMSSSL is deeply committed towards creating awareness, raising funds for providing training and contributing to social causes for the empowerment of women.
