The Silent Sexism Project exists to catalogue instances of sexism experienced on a day to day basis. They might be serious or minor, outrageously offensive or so niggling and normalized that you don’t even feel the reason to protest. Say as much or as little as you like, use your real name or a pseudonym – it’s up to you. By sharing your story you’re showing the world that sexism does exist, it is faced by women, men and LGBTQIA, every day and it is a valid problem to discuss.

0n 5th January 2021, we celebrated our two-year anniversary! What started as an attempt to catalogue the instances of sexism in our daily lives has now grown into a thriving community of people, unafraid of speaking out against sexism. Over the course of the last two years, with your support, we were able to:
- Provide resources for domestic violence survivors including mental health assistance, legal aid and rehabilitation
- Run a campaign normalising breastfeeding
- Provide resources to deal with workplace harassment
- Share our views on the subtle sexism in some of the favourites movies and TV shows.
We hope that we can continue to relying on your support going ahead as we try and make the world around us safer, more inclusive and accommodating. For furthering our goals and reaching out to a wider audience, we need funding for our initiative.
