The ongoing pandemic has pushed a vast majority of migrant and sex workers into a life of uncertainty without a source of income. Furthermore, deeply entrenched social stigma against sex work also makes it difficult to find other means of subsistence. For many, living with children below 5 years of age also severely restricts options of employment. Oftentimes, the children face the worst brunt of this crisis and are left without the basics of food and medicinal support. This campaign seeks to raise funds to support a ration kit of general groceries and basic medicine for a month for these women and children.
Your support can directly improve the current quality of life of these women and children in the pandemic. You can make sure that they are guaranteed access to the most basic needs of human survival-that of food and medicine. Thank you for sharing your hard-earned resources at a time of financial distress.
