We are a Group of Widows and Jobless Women of Balakuti Village, Coochbehar, West Bengal.
We are here to request you all to support us with your donations and contributions so that we can start a Slipper Making Business at our village and start earning to meet our daily expenses and our families.
We lost our jobs due to Covid 19 and couldnt find a way or job to earn till today, we are facing difficulties to even feed our children and take care of our daily expenses.
We are worried as we dont have any jobs, dont have any way of earning.
We group of women want to start a slipper manufacturing business at our village.
We contacted our village panchayat for support, Mafidul Hoque, Gram Panchayat of Balakuti Village, Constructed a Shed for us to start work but We dont have money to buy machines, raw materials and required equipments to start the work.
We don't have another way of earning as our husbands have passed away and some women husbands have lost jobs due to Covid 19, we have arranged money selling jewellery we had and built a shed with the help of our Village Panchayat to start work but due to Covid 19, we couldn't make it possible.
We couldn't buy machines and required raw materials to make slippers.
We want some funds to buy Machines, Raw Materials, So that we can start the work and earn ourselves.
