    This fundraiser will benefit

    Vyjayanthi Mala

    from Bengaluru, Karnataka

I am raising the fund request on behalf of my friend Ms.Manjula Devi whose mother Mrs.Vyjayanthi Mala has been admitted in NIHMANS and had undergone a brain surgery and is still undergoing treatment. My friend Manjula is from a poor socio economic background and is the sole breadwinner of the family and is into a less earning job. Unfortunately, she lost her younger brother last year and her father few years back and she is worried whether she will loose her mother as well. She has exhausted all the amount she had saved for the hospitals and treatment. In Chinmaya Mission Hospital itself she spent around 1.6 Lakhs for the treatment and DG hospital and NIHMANS around another 1.5 lakhs excluding the surgery amount and is currently running about for funds for the treatment.

Summary:
Manjula's mother was admitted in Chinmaya Mission Hospital on 2nd January,2020 for Respiratory issues and was discharged on 14th January,2020. Since her condition didnot improve she was shifted to DG Hospital on 14th January,2020 and started undergoing the treatment but she contracted Septicemia due to which she got Pneumonia and other infections. During her treatment there she suddenly had Ventricular Haematoma with significant Supratentorial Hydrocephalus (internal bleeding within the brain) and her condition worsened and was advised to undergo a brain surgery but the hospital didnot have the facilities so she was discharged on 30th January,2020 and admitted to NIHMANS and underwent Occipital Decompressive Craniectomy and is still undergoing treatment in NIHMANS.

Kindly requesting to make contributions whatever possible, even small amount also can help for her mother's treatment which would be a big help to save her mother.

I am attaching the concerened letter from NIMHANS for your reference.
