I and my wife Vrushali have been happily married for the past 33 years. A few years back, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo a mastectomy; after a few cycles of chemotherapy, doctors declared that she had beaten the disease. However, a few weeks back signs of jaundice and intense fatigue led to further clinical investigations, which revealed that her cancer has relapsed and has spread to her liver. I have retired and due to a spinal injury I am unable to physically work anymore while Vrushali is a house wife. We have spent all our savings on the first round of cancer treatment and the subsequent recent diagnostic tests; I had to sell my flat in Bhayander and move to Palghar to support the cost of treatment. My wife Vrushali is currently under treatment at the HCG Cancer Hospital in Borivili, the doctors have given us an estimate of Rs. 2,50,000 for chemotherapy. She has to undergo a minimum of 3 cycles of chemotheraphy. With no other alternative source of income, we are losing hope. Please help me save my wife’s life.
