Sunderban. Cyclone effected area.while most of us think of hot tea and a snack and wish to sitback n watch our favourite tv show or read a favourite book during rains..
Few of us are thinking of doing different.. vks sharanya welfare society team is at Sunderban to help the people at Sunderban .helping them with minimal needs to be met.
With support from like minded people we are targeting to help make 1000 shelters where people can live .

If you can help them a little with fixing their broken tubewells, with rehabilitating their ponds that have become unusable due to the influx of saline water, with renovating those tiny huts they used to call home, or with providing them a square meal a day, they will be indebted towards you for a lifetime.
 Right now, there are hundreds of us taking baby steps in helping this place to get back on it's own feet- be it handing out food to hundreds of people, repairing the boats of fishermen or asking our doctor friends if they can reach out their services to these people.
In the next week, we intend to open up 3 more community kitchens in the Baikunthapur, Sridharpur and Bhubaneswari villages to reach out to a wider landscape. We request all you to come forward and join hands with us so that we can help these people as much as we can in our own small ways.
