We are in touch with his family and want to make sure they get all the support possible. It is in this we ask for your help.
A bit about VittalVittal was a student of the Information Science department, Gogte institute of technology, 2004 batch. He started his career in Motorola as a Software engineer and resigned in the year 2013 to start his own venture ‘RVS interiors’. He was doing pretty well in his business and had dreamt of taking his firm to the international level. He will always be remembered by his friends as full of life, always up for new experiences and never-say-no attitude.
He also made remarkable contributions in many of the Milaap campaigns which were set up to help north Karnataka during floods and to help one of our friends who was fighting deadly cancer.
Even though he was trying hard, there were several challenges that have left the finances in an unreliable state and his family struggling. While he was in the process of building them back, he lost the battle to COVID-19 and left us on 13th May 2021.
He was the sole bread earner of his family, leaving behind his wife and his son. Today the family faces a severe existential crisis since his wife is a homemaker and the family doesn’t have assured sources of income to ensure the child’s education and monthly expenses.
Support needed for his family in the time of needHis family deserves the better future that Vittal was working hard to provide them. Although the loss is irreparable, this is a small effort by his friends, colleagues, and batch-mates to support his family so that the education of Vittal’s son does not get hampered in any way and his family gets money to cover monthly expenses.
We are all together raising this amount to set up a policy for his family that guarantees a monthly recurring amount that can help ensure their monthly expenses are met.
FAQ1. Is this genuine?
Yes, it is. Money collected in the campaign will be directly transferred to Vittal's wife.
2. How much should I donate?
Any contribution is welcome.
3. How will the funds be used?
The funds will be used to pay school tuition and school-associated expenses for Vittal’s son. Some part of this money will be used to pay his current loans and the remaining part will be used to create a policy or FD which will ensure some form of a monthly earning for the family.
4. How much money are you targeting to raise?
We are targeting to raise ₹ 1.5 cr. We’ve come up with this based on the current funds available to the family, their current pressing loans, and the expected expenses to ensure the kid can get a graduate education of his choice in a professional university. We believe this is what Vittal would have liked to do for his children.
