This is an appeal from a group of students to help our teacher, Arun Nagar, and his wife, Vishaka Mayi, who are in a dire state. Vishaka went into labor on 19th October and had a severe postpartum hemorrhage. She lost a lot of blood and despite all efforts, her organs have gone into shock -kidney and liver have stopped responding. The newborn has been away from his mother since, awaiting her love and comfort.

Our teacher, Arun, is one of the most sincere and dedicated self-defense coaches. A national-level medallist, he has devoted his life towards the cause of teaching self-protection to us. We are pained to see him and his newborn baby suffering through this trauma as the mother fights for her life in the hospital. It is in such times we need to stand together for our teachers and their families as they work tirelessly towards building our future. 

The treatment expenses have already exceeded Rs.6,00,000 and are expected to be an additional Rs.10,00,000. We urge you to please support the family with an open heart. Let us reunite the newborn with his mother this Diwali.
