Vineet Srivastava is suffering from 4th stage colorectal cancer (CRC) with Liver Metastases and is undergoing treatment at Medanta, Gurgaon.
He was unexpectedly diagnosed with severe 4th stage cancer in June 2019 despite having done everything possible to remain healthy. The doctors told us that he didn't have much time left but despite everything, we chose to fight it out no matter what it took. He has taken 18 chemotherapies which had extremely painful side effects and cost us all of our savings, around Rs. 60 lakhs in total. After this, we couldn't afford to continue the treatment at all and thus despite the initial improvement, the cancer relapsed and continued to grow more and more severe. Currently, he needs two major surgeries (liver and colon resection) and multiple chemotherapies and target therapies urgently in order to have a chance at life.
My father is the sole breadwinner of our family of 5. Since his treatment started, he hasn’t been in a condition to work. He runs a small scale manufacturing factory which too went out of business during the lockdown. The factory underwent humongous loss and it is impossible for us to rely on it as a source of income anymore. We are already under major loans due to the treatment so far, which we are unable to repay.
The total amount required is Rs. 50 lakhs to pay for all the medical expenses. As the amount required is huge, I request you to kindly contribute towards the treatment and help me save my father's life. The past 2 years and the cancer relapse has been an enormous burden on my family, financially and mentally and I can't bear to think of losing my father to this deadly disease only because we are unable to fund his treatment. He is the kindest man with the biggest heart and I have seen him selflessly help everyone he can throughout my life. Despite all the challenges he has faced, he has been our family’s pillar of strength. I implore you to help us in this battle by donating however much as you can. Without these two treatments, there is no hope for his survival and recovery. No amount is less for us in this time of crisis.
We would be forever thankful if you could share this page with your friends and family.
We are so grateful for your help and prayers.
