My name is Sai Krishna and I am here to raise funds for my sister Vijaya Durga who is 31 years old. Vijaya Durga lives in Vijayawada,Andhra Pradesh with her mother & father.
Vijaya Durga is suffering from Chronic bronchiectasis from a few months. She admitted and received ICU Care in Kamineni Hospital, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Last year.
She undergone treatment for 15 days in Kamineni Hospital for severe Bronchiectasis and Pulmonary Artery Hyper Tension(PAH). She recovered well and discharged on March 15 th 2020 with 18 hrs Oxygen Supplementation and antibiotics daily .
On 17.03.2020 we met senior pulmonologist in Hyderabad for further treatment and he advised us to hold for some time and suggested some medicines and tests( chest x-ray, serum IgE, CBP).Doctor said to visit him again with the reports Monday or Tuesday for further information regarding surgery.
After that countrywide Lock down imposed and all hospitals are filled with Covid Patients. Doctors advised us not to take infectious patient outside because they affected faster than normal people with covid and sister was taking antibiotics and Supplemented with O2(Oxygen) therapy for 18 hours daily.
This year in may 2021 she again affected with infection in lung and admitted in Kamineni hospital.
After many tests and CT Scan...the reports were as below
1)Cystic Bronchiectasis with air fluid level in right lower lobe.
2)Cylindrical and Varicose Bronchiectasis in right middle Lobe.
3) Bloody Sputum Hemoptysis.
they gave high antibiotics through IV infusion for a week and she was recovered . At that time they advised to go for surgery immediately( Removed damaged Part) or else it affects other organs and also frequently infections can occur along with fever cold and bloody sputum(hemoptysis).
On 09.07.2021 We visited Yashoda hospital and sister current health condition was checked by Senior Pulmonolgist. He advised for bronchoscopy for further screening examinations and investigations with thoracic surgeon.
They told that right lung Middle Lobe major blocked with thick Secretions and Bronchi become narrow and fluid and air level noticed in Right Lower Lobe and Left lower Lobe Pneumonia results in severe respiratory and heart problems in future.
This should be removed only by Surgery(damaged lobe removed by Surgical- lobectomy) VATS at the earliest.
On 16-07-2021 we met Dr. Bala Subramoniam.K.R for Surgery Purpose.
He had checked all reports of My sister .
1) Right Upper Lobe and Lower Lobe totally blocked with thick secretions and air fluid is present
2) Both RML and RLL Lobes has to be removed through surgical procedure and it is very critical surgery for almost 6-7 hours of duration
3) Prior 3 days before surgery require for treatment with antibiotics
and tests are necessary like ABG,PFT etc. to diagnose Lung working because total right lung Middle & Lower lobes abscess .
Doctors said that if this lung Block&bleeds again,that condition will be fatal .If the surgery didn't performed early then her condition will turn more worst.
With the surgery and treatment my sister has a very good chance of getting better.
Doctor advised to give higher antibiotics to her prior 3 days before the surgery .Post surgery 5 days to 1 week required for observation with 1 week antibiotics through infusion and 1 week Oral medications.
