I am an individual and with a group of friends who like me love to sing old Hindi songs, do so voluntarily and without any cost to any old age home. We carry our own karaoke equipment which involves a transportation cost and hence we would like to have donors who can donate for us to improve our activities at these old age homes. I'm also keen to go to places outside Mumbai city where I'm from and establish more singers for a dedicated cause of singing at old age homes, and  for that I need financial support to travel and stay for a day and also to regularly pay to our dedicated singers.

I regularly sing at BHN healthcare and other old age homes  every weekend from 4 pm to 7 pm and continue doing it every Saturday, and have attached their letters. Till now I have been going once every week carrying my karaoke equipment which I incur a cost to travel in a taxi. With a donors help I recently purchased a portable karaoke system, with which I can now travel by basic public transport to the old age home and sing. Each karaoke system is in the starting range of Rs. 5,000.00 . I have email communications from other old age homes in Delhi, Bangalore and other cities too. Please do spread the word of this charity amongst your friends and contacts to donate as well as to encourage singers to come forward and take the initiative to start singing at old age homes. Eventually I'm working on creating a team of dedicated singers who have made a career in singing and would like to be financially compensated for singing at these old age homes and all the donated money will be made to use for these purposes. Want to do my bit for the benefit of these senior citizens who are locked in life due to their medical conditions. Looking forward to your support. Please feel free to ask me any questions and watch the videos on my YouTube profile which I have posted here on my updates. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel and see more videos of my activities.

Hi all, while this campaign was getting live, I meanwhile already visited SHEOWS Delhi old age home with the generous support of a friend who sponsored my travel and stay and sang many songs there. Posting a YouTube video here. Have a look at it and subscribe to my channel to see more of my videos in old age homes.

The story of this centre is that it was founded by Dr. G.P. Bhagat 16 years ago, and they survive on donation from various organisations. Every evening from 6 to morning 5 their vehicle is out on the streets picking up old destitutes. Some of these destitutes are in very dirty conditions and when they are picked up, no one is ready to help them as they cannot be touched. The centre informs the local police station and brings them to this centre which has a small ICU and an  operation theatre too. The patients sleep on the beds who are physically able and the handicapped sleep on the ground as seen in the video. Destitutes from all communities are kept here and when they die, they are cremated or buried as per their religion. There are 100 destitutes here who get a decent meal here which is eaten by the founder himself who is stationed there 24 hours, and the staff. And I had the pleasure to eat the same meal prepared for the destitutes. Once these patients are treated, they are sent to the centres larger old age home housing 200 people at a place about 2 hours drive from Delhi near the banks of the Ganga and they live there for ever. The old people are given diapers to wear, however accidents do happen and the centre has to manage to clean up the place. One such accident happened when I was present, just before lunch and by the time I came back, the place was cleaned of all odour. Many of the patients are mentally unstable and during many songs I sang you will hear crying from old patients for no reason for us to understand just as an infant would cry at home.
