I am reaching out to let you know that we are kicking off a campaign to help our eldest brother, Venkatesh Prasad and his family, and we need your help!
Venkatesh Prasad was diagnosed with Grade IV Nephropathy, which is a Chronic Kidney Disease wherein his creatinine levels had touched 24 mg/dL and Blood Urea was 400 mg/dL. Nephrologists have recommended Hemodialysis thrice a week as a long term treatment and consider kidney transplant at an appropriate time. With no medical insurance, it has already costed INR 2.5 lakhs for initial hospitalization, diagnostic tests, hemodialysis and medications. More importantly, ongoing monthly medical expenses would come upto INR 25,000 per month, excluding the living expense.
Prasad will no longer be able to carry out his regular duties as an Aghora Spiritual Practitioner and his wife being a home-maker, his financial burden needs grave attention.
We can’t cure Prasad, but we can help ease the financial burden and resultant stress that the family is facing. Our goal is to raise the entire INR 15,00,000 for them that will sustain hemodialysis, diagnostic tests, medications, and any emergency hospitalization over the next 5 years.
Help us fundraise with your own fundraiser! If you can’t afford to give yourself, please think about pledging to fundraise from your own friends and family on his behalf. If you can attract 10 donations of INR 2,500 each, it would have a great impact.
