My dear friend, Vengatesan emerges from the rural district of Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. Due to his determination to overcome their poverty and support his family of 3 elder sisters, he pursued engineering from government college and graduated with a Gold medal. He shared his father's responsibilities and got his sisters married and settled.

After his sisters' marriages, he recently got married to his parent's blessings in February and was planning for sweet and peaceful family life. However, during the initial phase of COVID, he was affected by tuberculosis (TB) and was being treated for the same, when his father passed away due to COVID in August 2020.

Even before he could get out of the shock of losing his father, a week back, he fell sick and was taking treatment from a local hospital at Villupuram. His platelet count went down to 20000 and his condition worsened day by day. He was asked to move to a private hospital for advanced treatment.

Yesterday, he was diagnosed with a certain type of blood cancer - Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and his condition seems to become critical as minutes pass by. His earlier TB has also relapsed and is making his condition even worse.

He, being the only source of income for his family, has already drained all his savings in initial diagnosis & treatment, he is left with no option but to seek help.

I want him to be strong mentally and fight cancer with positivity. I hope he comes back to us and his newly married wife and his mother completely recovered.
