Vency Patel a normal four-year-old girl suddenly complained about 1/4/2021 of weakness in lower limbs. She was admitted to the Royal Institute of Child Neurosciences (RICN), Ahmedabad on the very next day. By the next day, she could not move her legs or arms and had difficulty in speaking. She was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS) and given the costly treatment of IVIG- intravenous immunoglobulin. In spite of this, her disease kept showing progression. Now she is on a ventilator due to weak breathing muscles.
