He leased 6 acres of land in Ramakrishna colony, thimmapur mandal, karimnagar district, telangana out of which 2 acres has been developed as Goshala. The Goshala now provides shelter close to 14 cows including calves and bulls .out of 14 cows 6 are of Cows and bulls saved from meat mafia.
Till date, all the expenses are maintained using his own resources and income from welding works in his garage. However, as time has passed he is getting older,Ramgopal chary is facing a resource crunch. The shelter built in the goshala was already running on full capacity but temporary shed not in position withstand from extreme weather conditions . The cows are feeding well in monsoon and winter with help of vast natured grassed land near the lower manair dam which is nearby goshala.but they have no shelter to protect them from extreme weather conditions (e.g. sweltering heat or rains) and feed in summer. All these cows are now under temporary shed but this is not well protective from extreme weather conditions and are in immediate need of a shelter and feed in summer it should buy from other farmers and one more plan to overcome the feed shortage In summer, crop a grass fodder it will permanently help to the feed gomathas.
Building a new shelter for additional capacity and permanent shelter is beyond reach as Ramgopal chary has already used all his resources towards maintaining existing facility.
Cows exposed to open skies without proper shelter in extreme weather conditions –
How you can help:
The goal of this campaign is to generate INR 1,00,000 of onetime capital that will be utilized for constructing permanent shelter in the goshala which can provide home to about 30-35 cows. This will not only save existing 14 cows but will also give an opportunity to extend similar facilities to additional 15-20 cows in the future. The contribution from you will play a big role towards saving Gau Mata from the cruel clutches of illegal meat mafia besides giving them a home where they are well fed and taken care.
