    This fundraiser will benefit

    Varadaraju Naidu

    from Kolar, Karnataka

We believe rain is a lifeline for farmers but sometimes the same rain can destroy the dreams of the farmers.

Kolar district is one of the drought places in Karnataka, most of the Farmers do the farming based on the borewell water source and rain-based agriculture. The average rainfall in the Kolar District is 799 MM but from the last couple of days they are seeing average rainfall is 35 MM per day. which caused huge water and floods in the farming lands.

Mr. Varadaraj lives in the village of Gopenahalli which is in Kolar district and border of Andrapradesh, where he grows various rain based crops like Ragi, Ground Net, and Millets, he also grows vegetables based on the groundwater source but due to the heavy rains from a couple of days, the crops grown by him like Ragi, Millets, groundnut, and vegetables are completely drowned in the water.

Where Ragi is sprouting out in the farm itself before harvesting, Millets are completely on the ground before they can harvest and store it. the beans grown by him are completely spoiled by rain where he could not go to his because of the river overflow.

Please extent your hands to support him morally and Financially, your small contribution can make a big difference in his life.
We live in the city, where food and groceries can be ordered by clicking on the phone. We can buy whatever we required from the shop easily and we can stay inside a flat couple of days without going out but for farmers, everything is farming, it's their bread and butter.

Below are a couple of video links attached, where you can see the current situation.
