Hello! I'm Valerie Vasava 23 year old transgender female based out of Gujarat.
I'm curreantly on Hormone replacement therapy for last 1year and 4 months. With constant counselling and psychotherapy. Until now I was able to afford all expenses out of my savings and with the help of my friend. But with latest development in regards to my medication and mental health it seems difficult for me to afford. New psychiatrist and new medicine. I've been advised to seek more other doctors as the present mental health medication are not effective. It would be very much difficult for me to manage my expenses without the support.
After coming so far on my transitioning journey I cannot risk getting off from Hormoness which will increase my dysphoria more and create more anxiety in me. The reason to start this fundraiser is to get new and better medication for my mental health and able to consult a psychiatrist so that they can treat me with a new and effective medication. Currently I'm on lupride depot injection which is very much important for HRT (hormones replacement therapy) and one injection cost ₹6.8k have to take it every three month along with estradiol and spironolactone.
In order to have a proper daily life functioning, now I have to rely on therapy sessions more frequently than the past as my mental health is worsening and current prescribed medication are ineffective.
My expenses on HRT, Therapy and other medical expenses including medication was around ₹5.5K. But now it had increased as ₹14K per month and still increasing.

Update on my mental health i've been trying so many different therapy, psycho therapy, hypnotherapy but not had worked so far. As per doctor the meds they have been giving me are very high dosage and should give improvement of min. 25% but it help me 5% only so they had to keep changing regime with new meds but are also ineffective instead it made it more worse. So doctor are trying their best but still its not improving so they keep me referring to other higher and expensive doctors. so i'm hoping that their regime does workout for me. I'm kind of losing hope but still want to try it so that i can start functioning normally and get a job i had to quit my job because of my mental health and lost my source of income and all the saving to fix my health.
I also recently got diagnosed with ADHD which i new thing to get use to and with this condition and their medication are really expensive for me.
