UPAJ India is an initiative of Behala Global Academy of Fine Arts. UPAJ India aims at transforming spaces and integrating society through practice of art and culture with emphasis on exploring the impact of art in education, outreach and research, mainly in rural and periurban areas.

Last year after CYCLONE AMPHAN, we had conducted several relief programmes in affected areas of South and North 24 parganas District, reaching out to over 2500 families.

This year, once again, we have been badly hit by CYCLONE YAAS, where several villages have been inundated during high tide and Cyclone.

We are preparing to reach out to the people in flood affected areas where we plan to distribute food ration kits, dry food kits, tarpaulins, medicines and sanitary napkins.
