But, there are so many people for whom Diwali is same as a normal day. People who can't afford even new dresses for their kids and family. People who can't even provide meal to their family.
We at Kaalindi has came up with an initiative to bring the happiness on the face of such people.Last year in Diwali we raised some funds with the help of Milaap. We utilized these funds to donate dresses designed by me to the kids and females of a small village Bediatola.
We also arranged one time meal for the entire village on Diwali.Other than this we also donated essentials like sanitary pads to the women who can't afford it or who are not aware of this.
We have also donated masks designed by me during the initial days of COVID.
This Diwali we will be providing one time free meal to more such villages who need it.
Also we will be giving new dresses to unprivileged kids and ladies of Bediatola village.
We are planning to to start stitching centers for the ladies
from villages of Dhanbad.
These centers will have machines which will give job to few ladies working in shifts. So, in total with the funds raised will help ladies to earn their livelihood and take care of their families.
I request all of you to kindly help us raise funds so that we can bring happiness on few more faces this Diwali.
