Stay Home, Stay Safe - This has become the war-cry in our global war against COVID-19.
But, can the medical fraternity avail this privilege?
They are at the frontline saving precious lives and also at the maximum risk of infection.
What makes them even more vulnerable is acute shortage of protective gear, especially masks now.
There have been cases when hospital staff has no option but re-use the same mask after washing it which was ideally supposed to be disposed after 6 hours of use.
The government and the administration are doing what they can to provide requisite medical equipments and protective gears to the hospitals. It’s time we all step-up and own our responsibility towards the safety of health-care soldiers.
Let’s provide them masks.
What we intend to do?
We want to provide 10,000 3-ply face masks made of meltblown non-woven fabric to the staff of General Hospital, Sector-6, Panchkula.
How can you help?
Every contribution, no matter what the amount, is going to keep them safe from COVID-19 infection.
This is a 100% not-for-profit campaign and keeping complete transparency we will share the details of the funds spent with the contributors and donors.
Social distancing may make us stay apart but there has never been such a testing times to come together to protect those who protect us - our doctors, nurses, allied health care workers.
Gratitude we all have expressed in different ways, now let’s provide them shields, the masks, to protect themselves against COVID-19.
