    This fundraiser will benefit

    Unemployed Underprivileged People

    from Bikaner, Rajasthan

In addition to widespread hunger and health concerns, COVID19 impacted many other economic and social segments due to the repercussions of the imposed lockdown.
And one such area is the effect of the unemployment aspect of the pandemic on the families that were already struggling to meet their ends.

So, after working on the COVID relief measures through Mission Madad in Bikaner, STARK Foundation has finally decided to address above mentioned issue and work in that direction with a long-term perspective. More details are provided below,

Sponsored Vocational Training for the Underprivileged (WIP)
  • Presently, our team is doing the ground research on what all vocational skills should be picked in our first phase. The final decision would be based after considering three basic metrics:
     a) Ease of learning of that particular skillset
     b) Willingness/Interest of local population to learn
     c) Available marketplace and opportunities in the vicinity
  • Parallelly, we are in conversation with the local training academies/ individual trainers willing (at some cost which the NGO would bear) to conduct training for onboarded unskilled & semi-skilled workers.

There will be some fixed setup costs associated with the training centers (resources such as machines, infrastructure, etc.), which this fundraiser will support. Apart from that, recurring running costs (such as rent, the salary of employed professionals) and training expenses would be borne by our team.

Under our initiative, we pledge to maintain complete transparency of the financials associated, and detailed info will be soon posted on the campaign page.

We appreciate any feedback/suggestions from people who come across this campaign. Here is the link for the suggestion form.

Thank you!
