Story

For us hunger isn’t an issue of Charity, it’s an issue of Justice.

Post-Lockdown, situation hasn’t improved for the migrant labors of Delhi, NCR. Jobs were lost and wages weren’t paid at the time of going into lockdown. Leaving families completely dependent on NGO’s for food.

On 1st April 2020, we took the pledge to do our part in the crisis, to help feed those who are most vulnerable right now.

It was a huge challenge, but our team braved the obstacles and delivered 9,150 meals in the area of New Gurgaon in the month of April 2020.

We kept striving towards our goal of feeding every hungry person around. The challenge grew bigger in the month of May 2020 but so was our will to provide food to every hungry person. We continued our effort and delivered 9,450 meals in the month of May.

But we didn't stop to pat our backs, rather pushing towards maintaining and increasing the number of meals we deliver.

We have kept increasing the number each passing month, June (10,300 meals), July (11,280 meals) and in August we delivered (12,400 meals). And we don’t want to stop there; we aim to feed 500 people every day and keep it up for 3 months. Hence we ask your help at this point.

There is a long way to go and in this calamity, we wish to play our part with all our hearts. There is unemployment and hunger all around. If we don’t help right now, it might be too late.

And for that, we need your support. To feed 500 people one meal is costing us ₹ 7,334.00 INR (for our standardized ‘ALL-in-Bowl’ meal) per day. We have taken all possible safety measures - our staff, equipment, kitchen, and e-loader are sanitized on a regular intervals, but to continue the mission we are seeking and accepting financial help.
