Net Impact Club, ISB in collaboration with Robin Hood Army (RHA) is launching a Food Donation Drive for families severely impacted by the pandemic. ISB has pledged to donate staple food to most affected families in and around Mohali and Hyderabad.
The food kits will contain a combination of rice, atta and dal which will last a family of 4 for 15 days (quantity distributed is subject to the location).
According to FAO estimates, 14% of India’s population is undernourished – this means 189.2 million men, women and children are unable to access enough food. With the on-going pandemic and increasing unemployment, the hunger issue has aggravated significantly.
This Independence Day let’s pledge to do our bit. Let’s pledge to free 500 families from hunger.
PS- Robin Hood Army is only our logistical partner and does not take any form of money donation. The entire fundraiser is being carried out by Indian School of Business
