Sapna, a 17-year-old girl wants to learn leadership skills in order to pursue a career in management.
Nihal, a 12-year-old boy having trouble getting his classwork and homework because he doesn't have access to a phone at home. He wants to be an engineer when he grows up.
Such lofty goals at such a young age!
I'm Madhumitha, a volunteer at Hamari Pahchan NGO.
I would like to help underprivileged children who are in need of gadgets for their education and as we all are facing the pandemic, no one is able to go anywhere and therefore education institutions and all other sectors are functioning digitally.
Underprivileged children are unable to afford gadgets and are hence suffering as they are staying behind in their syllabus. Through the means of “GADGETSHALA”, we intend to shift to a mode of online learning, accessible through gadgets such as mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. Furthermore, we have distributed textbooks, notebooks, and other stationery essentials, doing our best to ensure that they have accessibility to elementary levels of education.
As a volunteer, I am creating awareness as we are in need of gadgets or if not gadgets then a small contribution. Instead of throwing your old gadgets, you can give them to those children who are in need. It will be a great support.
