The Madilu Seva Trust NGO (R) works for the rehabilitation of tribal people and to support them in their overall development. The trust has adopted two government schools namely Government High school, Sonahalli, HD Kote Taluk, Mysore District, and Government High School, Beechanahalli, Mysore District.
There are a total of 240 kids from the ages of 7-14 studying in the two schools. More than 150 children are below the age of 10. These funds will be used to provide books, stationery, uniforms and to cover other miscellaneous educational expenditures for a period of 3 months.
In association with the Prerna Trust, USA we have recently started interactive sessions wherein NRI volunteers address our kids about the environment, hygiene, social behavior, and other subjects. We hope to accomplish much more and create a lasting impact in the lives of these children.
