My Mom has undergone open heart surgery on march end 2019. Operation was done as planned but due to her age it took 10 days more for post operation recovery. She was kept in ICU and additional procedures done to normalize her health condition. She was kept in ICU throughout this period.
She got shifted from ICU to normal ward after completing her surgery procedures. Post shifting, she got respiratory problem and again moved back to ICU. It has been found that she has problems in lungs and due to her age doctor said it’s difficult to cure the lung problem or to perform any transplantation. She was kept in special device in ICU to normalize respiratory problems (This procedure was costing us a lot on a daily basis). She’s being continuously monitored and doctor informed us that we might need to buy a device and continue using them at home after discharge from hospital.
It’s almost close to 25 days since she got hospitalized. I had spent more than 8 lakhs for various hospital bills and exhausted all my savings. I have also borrowed money from my relatives/friends.We couldnt able to manage her medical expenses on monthly basis.We have also setup oxygen cylinder at home.We are refilling it for every 2 days which costs 500 rs.Tablets she is taking got heart,lungs and diabetes which also costs around 16K per month.Kindly do the needful.
