AMPHAN RELIEF CAMP, A JAGORANI INITIATIVE

The Sundarban delta of West Bengal, India has been facing grim situation since 20th May, 2020 due to devastating Amphan cyclone. I am Uma Dutta behalf of Jagorani is raising this fund for 200 families of Muhanpur, a small village in Sundarban. This place is now completely submerged. Amidst COVID-19 issue this damaged those inhabitants immensely.
First we thought we will be distributing some rations and medicines but yesterday when we visited the place what we saw was horrible. They don’t even have utensils to cook food. They lost everything. So we are doing this crowd funding as per our limitations to provide them cooked food(rice and egg curry), dry food material(puffed rice, biscuits) and medicines to cope with waterborne disease and sanitary napkins.
Every bit of details will be produced for those materials and will be shared here through Jagorani facebook account: http://www.facebook.com/jagorani.org/ . You can email me or contact me over to know more. Feel free for any inquiry.

So, I request you to help them in this severe condition. It is urgent and much needed. I do request you to contribute as per your capacity. Always remember no contribution is smaller.
I hope all of you have seen the effect of Amphan cyclone that is much more powerful than 2009's Aila. The Gangetic delta is facing the same every year like last year's two consecutive cyclones Fani and Bulbul, now this time Amphan which much worse of any of the previous cyclone in near history.
Take care and stay safe.
